Polyethyene Sleevings for Pipes
The Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE) sleeving is used to cover the DUCTILE IRON (D.I) Pipes conveying both portable water as well as drainage/sewerage effluents. The sleeving act as anti-corrosive layer, thus protecting the buried D.I pipes from corrosion which occurring in the ground. The sleeving are manufactured by adhering the standard ISO 8180.
Raw Material Used : Virgin Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) is used as the main ingredient while Linear low Density Polyethylene is also added to improve the toughness, puncture resistance, impact strength. Polyethylene based master batch is added to it for imparting the prescribed colour
